I thought I'd upload this quickly, its from up in the Tate Modern, i really wish i could remember the Artist, but basically... its 2 man made tree that have been carved in stunning detail out of large timber beams... I think it is a amazing piece simply because it i symbolic of people escaping consumerist society, and trying to revert back to nature. which can be a long and extensive process.
Which is why find images like this interesting, i took this from just behind parliamentary gardens, as you can see in the far distance the Chard, I find it fascinating the way that the clouds have settled so low around the tallest building in the capital; Whereas in the foreground the trees being so insignificant against the buildings facing them.
These are a couple of pictures i took during the turner Prize this year of a Spartacus Chadwick performance piece, which i find connect to this idea very well the top image captures a naturalistic dreadlocked creature engaging a crowd of modern art students; to they're amusement and to its fascination
The below can be interpreted as nature and colourful and playful society hand in hand.
Something to be idolised
was pretty fun
